Aloha!

Aloha wau ia Hawai'i (I love Hawaii) We are back to the real world after a wonderful week in paradise. We had a great time. It couldn't have worked any better for us. We were able to enjoy one last trip to Hawaii for a VERY LONG TIME. The flights were great, Blake did awesome both ways but he did have a very hard time with the time change. For the first few days all he wanted to do was sleep during the day and play at night. We tried to keep his schedule reasonable for him but we didn't want to miss out. Some of the higlights of our trip included watching sunsets, snorkeling with turtles, playing at the beach, eating delicious fresh fruit at the farmer's market, eating chocolate macademia nut ice cream mmmmmmmmm, eating out, visited the Kona Temple, spent lots of time as a family and my favorite part DOLPHINSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!! I absolutely looooooooooooove dolphins I have since I was 4 and if I could just have a pet that would be it hahaha just kidding I don't really like them in captivity. We were told by some people that the Hilton had dolphins in their hotel so we went and I had an awesome time. I just love the people of Hawaii they are happy, friendly, funny, relaxed and just a joy to be around. At the Condo they had little activities and we made leis, listened to local singers and watched some hula dancing. I needed this sooooooooo bad. The singer was the sweetest man ever. He performed with both his daughters and it was just beautiful. They have such an amazing way to communicate with their dancing I love it. We will miss Skywest even though it gave Dallin a bad back it has also allowed us to create great memories together. We are ready for dental school. We are rested, happy, relaxed and ready for an adventure. Bring it on!!!

Disneyland

A few months ago we were watching TV and saw the ad about Disneyland (GIVE A DAY GET A DISNEY DAY). It sounded pretty good to us to serve and have some fun as a fam. We served at the Clark Planetarium as exhibit explainers and had lots of fun. We were there for 4 hours. It was totally worth it. We were coached for the first hour about chemical reactions, our planet and many other things. I found myself very interested in what they had to say. I was even more amazed with our planet and specially our solar system. After completing our assignment, we were given approval by their director to GO TO DISNEYLAND and our tickets were sent to our email yaaaaaaay!! We flew out this last Wednesday and came home on Friday. Blake thought that the airplane ride was the funniest thing ever. As soon as it took off he started busting up laughing so loud that people around him started laughing too. He was already having fun!! We got to our Hotel and headed to the swimming pool in 65 degree weather. Blake was shaking but didn't want to get out. He was splashing and kicking his feet and laughing. I took him to the hot tub and he loooooooooooooved it! he thought it was the biggest bath ever hahahaha. He was saying bubbles mommy bath. While we were in the pool we met a couple from Bountiful as well, what a small world. They were both BYU graduates and were very friendly. We quickly connected with them. We were the only ones wearing tankinis in the pool hahahahaha. We had breakfast together the next morning. We thought we were going to IHOP but somehow we ended up in the Disneyland hotel's restaurant. Me and Dall looked at eachother like um? are these people really from Utah? hahahaha It was a bit pricey but fun, all the characters came out and interacted with the kids. Blake wasn't so down with it. We headed down to the park and we had a really good time. The lines were short, the weather was nice, we made some friends and we were in the happiest place ever! We didn't have a car so we did a lot of walking which I'm greatful for because I'm trying to work off my fat! We made it home safely and stanby travel wasn't too bad this time, we got to sit together both ways. Yay for family vacation!!!!!!!!!!

I did it!

After months of some intense studying, praying, and telling myself I can do this. I finally took the American Citizenship test yesterday, and I passed it!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am so stoked about this new chapter in my life and the opportunity to be part of this wonderful Country. My experience was actually really good, the whole process went quite smoothly. My name was called and I was taken to a back office, I had to swear that I would tell the truth. The officer that interviewed had a pair of scissors on his desk and he goes "I better put those away in case you want to stab me" hahahahha I was like um why would I want to do that if I want to pass my test? He made me feel really comfortable. He then asked me several history, civics, and geography questions, had me read and write a sentence and then told me YOU PASSED!!!!!!!! I was like what??? that's it? He was like yes you are all done. Welcome to America!!! Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!! Now I have to wait for the oath ceremony and America here I come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! God Bless the USA. I love this Country!

Officially Stay @ home Mom

After almost 5 years I had to say good bye to the job that gave us a great start during our marriage. Utah Imaging. I will greatly miss the wonderful friends I made and especially the interaction and the opportunity I had to serve and assist many wonderful patients. I learned so much throughout the years and my interest in the medical field has greatly grown. I hope to continue to serve and help others around me and in my husband's practice one day. I have now the opportunity to have the job of my dreams be a stay at home Mom. I am so looking forward to the many wonderful lessons I will learn as I take on this journey with my little Blake. But of course I will miss the adult interaction, free time, and the extra little income :(
But thank goodness for play groups, wonderful friends, and a whole world to discover full of fun and free things for us to enjoy!!!!!!!!!!! I'm ready. Let's do this!!!!

This is how I was greeted upon my arrival. My wonderful husband made me a great sign!

How can I not want to come home to this? Best job ever!!!!!!!!!!
