Black Friday

Ok so we had a great thanksgiving but I totally have to write Dallin's black Friday experience so in the future Blake knows how much his Dad really, really loves him hahahha. So Thursday night after having a delicious dinner with Aunt Claudia we get home and go straight to the adssssss. Yep not very smart of us. We really weren't impressed with anything. We did all of my Christmas shopping online so I was pretty satisfied with what we got. But as we were looking we came across a few items for Blake at TOYS R US. Little did we know what would happen next. So Me and Dall kept going back and forth its not worth it. maybe we should just let it go and not worry about it. We get ready for bed at 10:00 and Dallin says well I'll just go now and I should be back home by 1 am because the store opens at midnight. Oh boy he was in for a treat. He Left at 10:30 when He arrived at the store there was a line forever long. hundreds of people were in front of him. He texted me Hun are you kidding me I'm not going to stand out here in the cold I'm coming home. So he stood out in the cold for 1 hour. well this is his account of what happened: As they opened the doors he knew what he was going to get which were like 3 things and he DID NOT GET A CART. Well as he kept looking around he kept finding great deals all over the place. He had his hands full of train table, train set, I mean huge and heavy items. He ran into some lady's cart because he couldn't even see hahaha finally he made it to a line dragging his toys all over the store hahaha and as he gets in line that wraps around the store and curves inside like a snake they close it hahaha and they were like this is not a line. So he moves to the next line again dragging all his toys all over the place, holding some with one hand and dragging some with the other he gets to the line and they tell everyone move this is not a line hahahaha by this point my husband is REALLY REALLY UPSET, he's about to drop everything and come home when someone says hey that's a real line over there so once again he moves to find out that it was another CLOSED REGISTER. OK so he finally finds the right line and asks a nice lady if she could watch his stuff while he got a cart which she did and she turns to him and tells him what are you doing here without your wife hahaha while I'm home sleeping. He gets a cart and puts all the toys in and there were about 150 people in front of him he stood in line for 3 HOURS. What a nice DAD. HE GOT HOME AT 3:30 am. the first thing he told me was What a joke I'll never, ever do that again!!!!!!!!!! Well One of the things I am really thankful for is my very patient, loving, husband. If I had been there I would have had a MAJOR DRAMA attack and I would have left empty handed. He got really good deals but we really don't think its worth to go through all that..NEVER AGAIN! HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
