E.R Visit

I feel like I'm destined to visit the E.R at least once with each pregnancy. It happened with the miscarriage before Blake, it happened with Blake when I had the big fall..they had to monitor me for hours. And lo it happened again......it all started with a big cramp on my right lower pelvic area which I ignored cause I thought oh well it's probably nothing. I went to pee and I was in teaaaaaaaaars. I can't explain the pain. I got the chills, feverish, cramping, I couldn't walk. Dallin looked at me like mmm maybe we should go somewhere. Ok as I have mentioned before getting into the dr. is a joke here so I still haven't been seen for this pregnancy. My first appointment is in October. I went to urgent care. I explained all the symptoms to the PA. They did a urine test and she told me: We found blood in the urine, I don't think it's an infection because usually when it is, white cells appear and there were none. I'm like it's gotta be something I'm dying!!! Well she was hesitant about treating me cause it could have been pregnancy related. She goes well it could be a possible miscarriage or kidney stones. Lots of rest and lots of fluids get to an OB ASAP. I called my PA friend and told him the situation he was like do not hesitate go to the ER don't even think about it. Went to the E.R I was there for 4 hours with Dallin and Blake. They did labs, ultrasound, vitals, great care I loved it. The doc was super nice hearing me out and after all that he comes in and tells me the baby is fine. You have a Bad UTI. I'm like whaaaaaaaaaat? really? they hurt that bad. He said we do not hesitate to treat you because you are pregnant. Let's kill this asap. Well I went home after midnight my poor Blake was over tired and didn't really know what was going on but I'm glad my two boys were there for me and I'm getting the care I need to get rid of this thing :)

  3. i'm sorry you had to go through that. i potty trained andrew in like 5 days but he was just totally ready. so i wouldn't even start unless blake is completely interested in the potty and likes to go if you let him. i bought a little potty, put it in my living room and let andrew run around naked for like 3 days, giving him tons of juice and popsicles. the first few times he peed on the floor and i would rush him to the little potty and then after that he got the point. he obviously was rewarded with treats when he pooped and we would act SOOO HAPPY..runn around screaming so he thought it was so fun. then i started taking the potty with me everywhere...store, park, in the car..so if he needed to go he could go right then. now i just make sure he goes before we leave anywhere and that there is a potty where we are going or i will sometimes still take it with me in the car. he picked out his underwear "lightening mcqueen and buzz"...so we say don't go potty on buzz..that has helped. also he wears pull ups to bed with buzz on them and he usually is still dry in the morning as long as i don't give him much to drink after about 7. we put him down around 9. and he goes right before we lay him down. we also have talked about not going potty in his big boy bed...etc. hopefully that helps a little. good luck.
