Update!!

It's been a while since I blogged last. I have been busy with potty training my almost 3 year old and it takes all my time and attention!!!!

December:
So Christmas came and went so fast. I was looking forward to having a husband again for 2 weeks!!! The first week we went to Utah and of course we flew standby and we stood by for 2 days. We were about to give up but we talked about what Blake had been saying in his prayers every night "bless the airplane so we can go see grandma, and play with cousins". So we felt bad and tried it one last time. We were lucky that one of Dallin's classmates was on that flight and traded with us so we could all sit together. We made it to Utah to a very warm welcome. While there Blake received lotsssssssssssss of attention. We were able to see our family and friends. We did Temple square lights with my best friend, had cafe rio, Dall went skiing, I got my hair done ate at noodles and company, did a temple session and went shopping. It was fun to spend Christmas with the Family. Blake enjoyed every single second of it.

But of course we had to encounter CRAP as we usually do when we fly standby. On Christmas Day we were all in the middle of the family gathering and I happen to tell Dallin check the flights just to make sure they look good. We were planning to leave the next day. Haaaaaaaaaaaa all the flights to Philly were CANCELLED because of a major storm!!!!! We gathered all our bags and said good bye to the family & went straight to the airport. We tried every route possible out of Salt Lake...Philly, New York, Washington DC, New Jersey, Pittsburgh, and NADA!!!

We waited, and waited and waited!!!
We finally went back home to Dallin's mom and tried it the next day. We flew to Ohio tried every possible way out of Ohio and nada again. We stayed over night in a hotel nearby and again tried it the next day. We tried all day again and nada. Finally We were sitting and we looked up and the screen and it said Syracuse New York. We both looked up and did some research and found out that it was a 4 hour drive to Philly. They got us on that flight, we landed rented a car. Drove 4 hours hit the storm the first hour and we made it home by midnight. Holy coooooooooooooowwwwww. I had been contracting all day long. I was totally squatting at the airport with pain and people were looking at me like I was in labor hahahaha we did so much running to different gates that my poor child was feeling ready I guess. I was glad to be home in my freezing apartment and do Christmas all over again with Blake. He sure loved it!!

Then Came New Years. We had some of our close friends over for dinner and games. In my culture it is costumed to eat 12 grapes for each stroke of midnight. That is 12 grapes in 12 seconds. So I told our friends about it and they decided to join. The 12 grapes is for good health throughout the year and also you hold money in your hand so you don't go without. Well somehow a piece of grape landed in my friend's sock cause she made me laugh so hard. Seeing all my friends trying to eat the grapes in 12 seconds was hilarious!!! I had a great time.

We told Blake happy new year the next day. Well it is January 20Th today and every time he goes down for a nap or to sleep he says "happy new year mommy & daddy, love you" it is the cutest thing ever. We are looking forward to a new year full of fun, adventure and of course the birth of our little Ava....:)
